Traffic Calming Ideas

"[My family] live[s] on the other side of Baker Park so I’ve been going back and forth everyday. This morning I took the detour because some roads in Baker Park are closed due to July 4th events. The detour leads me to drive on Kline Drive from Route 144 and then to Fairview. There I noticed a small rotary circle. It gave me an idea—it’s small enough to add the rotary circle at intersections of W 13th and Nedig. That should slow down the speeding cars and making it difficult for commercial trucks to pass through on a daily basis.

We should also post “no commercial trucks except for delivery” signs on the street. I hope the police will enforce it until the regular drivers get the message not to screw up with the neighborhoods. "
